Description Role Summary
The Matchmove team at DNEG are responsible for working with basic line up geometry and associated scene data in order to ensure a good match with the scene. This is achieved by taking the original background plate photography and recreating the set up for use with our in-house software.
Bodytracking /Rotoanimation is responsible for animating a 3d object or a rig as per the Live action footage in Autodesk Maya.Responsibilities
This role demands the following skill sets. To bodytrack a rig or an object as per the footage provided in a tracked camera in Maya for the below requirements - CG replacement / projections DNB holdouts FX collisions Lighting and shadows Anim reference/takeover Stereo conversion To collaborate with Supervisors, Leads and Production team to understand the shot briefing and ask for clarification. Meet the deadlines of the shot deliveries. Flag issues and concerns to the respective individual if there are any concerns. Take ownership of the work assigned. Must Have
Nice to Have
- A degree or equivalent in Computer Graphics, Animation or related course.
- Good hold on Maya software.
