The Digital News Show Producer will be responsible for conceptualizing, writing, producing and editing original video programming across our digital and social media platforms.
This person will work closely with on-air talent, newsroom personnel (from production to managers) and senior digital staff to produce and deliver daily recurring shows and/or news briefs for digital platforms such as Instagram, Apple TV, YouTube and/or our mobile site/app, just to name a few.
The ideal candidate must be an organized, responsible, self-starter that is able to take an assignment from concept to final product on a daily basis, adhering to strict deadlines and the very fast-paced nature of a 24/7 newsroom environment.
Applicants will need to have strong editorial/news judgement AND sound technical skills in order to be successful in this position.

Formulate rundown/structure for recurring daily digital video content
Consult with Assignment Desk and News Managers to determine news content to be covered
Write scripts for talent for each platform that content is being produced for
Work with art/graphics teams to design themes and styles unique to certain segments or platforms
Work with talent and production team to schedule and organize their time and availability
Work with talent on style and delivery of content
Package together the final product using editing and graphics software
Publish and deliver the final product to our audience via different social media platforms and/or our mobile site/app in a timely manner
Maintain metrics and analytics related to published content
Journalism background preferred
Must be highly proficient in Adobe Premiere and able to work with After Effects files and templates
Proficient in Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite
Strong writer who can create engaging and conversational copy for different social and digital platforms
Ability to work with different people across different departments in a seamless manner
Comfortable working with newsroom management software
Experience working with web publishing (content management) systems
Must be very social media savvy and able to quickly navigate the different ecosystems of each platform
Must be available to work overnights, weekends and holidays
