The Associate Social Media Producer for Apply
, Access and Access LIVE will create cutting-edge, social-first content to be posted across the brand’s social media profiles. The Associate Social Media Producer will be responsible for driving the strategy behind social growth and increasing engagement across all the Access social platforms. Essential Responsibilities: Produce and edit multiple social media videos daily on a variety of entertainment news and trending pop culture topics.
Write and edit social-first articles based on trending news stories.
Brainstorm, research, and pitch new content and franchise ideas for Access Online’s social audience, using a metrics-focused strategy.
Work with the Access Online’s Managing Editor to create and execute a social strategy that increases growth and engagement across all of Access’ social platforms.
Report metrics on Access’ social growth weekly, highlighting top performing content.
Work night and weekends as needed for event coverage and weekend scheduling.
Cover breaking news, trends, and tentpole events in entertainment news and pop culture.
Work with the Managing Editor to help the show and digital identify key trends and craft story packages rooted in social.
Ability to handle live streams across social media platforms.
Manage social partnerships (traffic exchanges, cross posting) with key partners.
Manage social sponsorship for branded integration posts
Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years experience working in social or digital media, producing and editing video for social media platforms and writing articles.
A love of pop culture, ability to spot trends on social media and plan for upcoming events, and the knowledge of how to capitalize on social media moments
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
A strong awareness of the social and digital media landscape, new technologies and products and how the content landscape is changing.
A curiosity for insights, and strong interest in constantly improving and evolving strategies to create better content.
Thirst to be speedy yet accurate in all situations!
