The Production Assistant is responsible for assisting producers with various assignments within Sports & Olympics projects.
Responsibilities Assist production personnel in all phases of Sports & Olympics feature production.
Request and/or build graphics needed for event coverage, along with being willing and able to operate on-air graphics machines.
Assist in editing pieces, preparing scripts, font coordination, operate prompter, and performing required sports research where required.
Locates and archives tape and digital materials
Works with multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
Assist with various office tasks relating to Olympic planning, presentations and overall production.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Minimum two years’ experience in Sports Television Production
Minimum one year experience in live control room and post production environments.
Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
