CNBC’s primetime digital team is looking for a Digital Content Producer.
This person will be responsible for creating and publishing content across a variety of digital platforms including Apply
/prime, OTT, YouTube and more.
Draw on combination of original content and show clips/segments to develop and maintain an ongoing stream of digital content; combine videos, still imagesand copy to generate compelling content for fans of ourshows.
Work with Digital Video Producer to create a compelling narrative across the site.
Work with freelance copy editor & web producer for assigned articles/copy when needed. Work with external partners to create custom sites and oversee campaigns.
Set up brainstorms to facilitate new ideas for digital; write out digital briefs; develop decks for upcoming show presentations.
Work closely with social team, show production units, research and analytical teams to meet content needs.
Attend weekly meetings and ensure all relevant messages are being relayed to the larger team and implemented accordingly.
Implement YouTube strategy and work with external partners to help us grow the channel.
Use analytics, feedback loops and reporting metrics to ensure content created is consistent with network’s goals and is designed tomaximize exposure.
Analyze reporting to inform our campaigns and pivot when needed, i.e. Omniture, Parse.ly and Domo
-At least 3 years of experience with social video production
-Knowledge of: Google Docs, Photoshop, reading code, Word, Excel, Lightroom, digital strategy
-Knowledge of social platforms, copy-writing, copy-editing
-Knowledge of CMS systems, content creation, video editing
-Exemplary interpersonal and organizational skills
-Strong attention to detail
-Associate or Bachelor degree completed, or equivalent professional experience
