Responsible for the day-to-day operations of an element(s), area(s) or venue(s) of the Entertainment Operations department. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing and supervising overall performance of employees and maintaining show/set quality. Promotes positive guest and employee experiences by ensuring that the element(s), area(s) or venue(s), including cast, crew and technical/support aspects, operates at the optimum performance levels.
Directly responsible for the day to day operations of an area(s) or venue(s), as well as the supervision and evaluation of all cast and crew for the assigned venue(s) or area(s). This includes, but is not limited to, the training/development of all employees assigned to the venue/area and assessing/addressing employee performance on a regular basis.
Responsible for effectively communicating necessary information which pertains to the operation of the assigned entertainment area(s) or venue(s) to both upper management and employees.
Accountable for ensuring that all administrative duties are properly completed in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling, payroll/timekeeper issues, budgetary functions and employee discipline.
Periodically represent the Entertainment Department as the Manager on Duty (Shows 1, Streets 1 and/or Entertainment 1) for a specific operating day. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, addressing guest and employee concerns, resolving problems or situations involving entertainment elements or venues (personnel and/or technical) and communicating operating issues effectively with employees and senior management.
Ensure that collective bargaining agreements are upheld by partnering with Human Resources and Labor Relations in providing input, addressing issues and maintaining positive union relationships. Ensure that discipline is applied in accordance with company procedures and collective bargaining agreements.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health and Safety responsibilities by following established USH policy, procedures, training and employee involvement activities.

High school degree or GED required. Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in preferred.
Supervisory, management and/or leadership background and experience preferred.
Previous experience in theme parks or similar environments is preferred.
Ability to read, interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively communicate, present information and answer questions in one–on-one and group situations.
Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
Enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing personality.
