Amiqus have partnered with a leading VR developer in their search for an experienced Technical Artist to join their growing team. They have a portfolio of world-first VR experiences under their belt already and are about to embark on the biggest and most exciting project to date so it’s the perfect time to join!
They’re made up of super talented and ambitious artists and developers who loves games and tech. They actively avoid crunch and are looking for a like-minded person to provide daily support for the art and code teams. You’ll work closely with the Lead Artists and Programmers to problem solve production needs and issues whilst mentoring other tech artists to help them identify pipeline problems and recognise a solution. You’ll have a significant understanding of a variety of games tech and be confident in the creation of tools and scripts to help shape a variety of projects
We’d love to see:
• Strong experience in a realtime or games environment
• A great portfolio that demonstrates an ability to create quality tools, scripts and rigs
• Previous mentoring, coaching or senior/lead artist experience
• Sound knowledge of Max, Maya, Unity, UE4, Photoshop, MEL, Python
• Passion for VR/AR/MR tech
