ResponsibilitiesMinimum 5 Years IT/Programming Experience
The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for the functional design, development, and implementation of several Java / Spring Boot applications which have touch points with Sintec, our linear ad serving platform. This position will drive product deliveries and is responsible for running daily in person SCRUM meetings which partner with business analysts, domain experts, and technologists. This is a key technical position within our group, which supports the Sales, Research, and Technology organization that generates ~$10B revenue annually. Specific responsibilities include:
•Shepherding the technical solution, technical strategy and program execution from onsite and offshore development resources
•Run SCRUM meetings and program execution with a cross functional team including QA, development, and business
•Manage the performance and scalability of features in development through analysis of architecture and discussion with DBAs
•Designing, and manage complex programs requiring in depth technical knowledge of Sintec and various integrations including CRM, Billing Systems, TIBCO, etc.
•Understanding Sintec architecture, infrastructure while maintaining and updating schematic blue print.
•Steer the overall design and development strategy of applications by engaging business/technical leads, customers, and developers
•Understand, analyze, and optimize CI’s technology portfolio including server, storage (cloud), database, network, and software requirements.
•Partner with Sintec Media to re-architect current areas of the platform that need to be changed as part of normal business enhancement requests.
•Work with the business analyst and vendors, design and develop detail technical specifications to enhance features and fix bugs for screens and reports
•Manage development and continuous integration environments, roadmaps and timelines to ensure on time and on spec delivery of products.
•Soliciting feedback from end users and incorporating into development plan
•Tracking and Prioritizing open issues, driving resolutions to a release.Qualifications/Requirements
Excellent understanding of Software Methodology, Agile software technologies and process
Excellent team-building, vendor and customer relations skills;
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with all stakeholders;
Strong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills
Experience with Java / Spring Boot, SQL Developer
One or more RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL)
Web Services and message formats such as xml and json
Experience in Supporting 24X7 Mission Critical Applications
Strong Communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Related Field
Good understanding on media market place, technology trends and developments
Experience in US Media & Entertainment environment preferred;
Experience with sales, traffic, and other TV systems preferred.
Advanced Programming Degree
Knowledge of Pivotal process
Mobile development in XCode, microstrategy, MDM tools such as Airwatch
