Responsibilities LXTV is a production unit within NBC Universal’s Owned Stations division. LXTV is responsible for producing and distributing cultural and lifestyle multiplatform programming. Programs include 1stLook, Open House, George to the Rescue and Talk Stoop.
Segment Producer needed immediately for LXTV productions, luxury real estate and design series, Open House. Responsibilities will include assist in field-producing 2 to 3 segments per week, act as camera operator on shoots, some editing on final cut will be required. The segment producer will be responsible for maintaining the show’s rundown and air schedule. Additionally, the segment producer will need to research segments, book and interview guests, oversee social clips and posts, work with editors in post, and assist producers during pre-production and in the field.
Minimum 3 years experience in television production, including shooting HD footage, and editing on final cut in a deadline driven environment
Social media savvy
Cold calling and booking experience
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be 18 years of age Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered
Bachelor’s degree in television production, communications, journalism or liberal arts field preferred
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to multi-task
Proficiency in Final Cut Pro X
